Job Description :
- Conducting experimental trials of AICRP Soybean project and station trials.
- Responsible for developmental breeding work like hybridization programme, Breeding material handling, DUS character testing,
- Maintaining genetic and physical purity of Nucleus seed (NS-I & NS-II stage), Breeder seed and general seed of all MACS soybean varieties etc
- Responsible for taking quantitative and qualitative data of different trials.
- Breeding work like crossing, selection, roughing, etc
- Involve in field work of Projects on null trypsin inhibitor and null lypoxygenase traits.
- Breeder Seed processing, labelling and sale of breeder seed bags
- Cleaning, weighing, labelling and arranging bags of soybean seeds of different groups like truthful seed, breeder seed and nucleus seed in godown
